Hello
I wrote a song a day ago after watching a program about domestic violence, and it inspired me to sing this song dedicated to all the victims of it.
I'm a poet and vocalist myself and this subject always breaks my heart, so I decided to take a stand with this song. I hope you will publish it.
Lyrics
(Chorus)
Another punch flat in the stomach
another push in the back
finding blue on your bed sheets
and I´m calling home when sirens whisper my name
I'm calling home
I'm calling home
The strange thing is I still don't recognize this kind of pain
cos when our lips meet I wish everything stays the same
but the force of your hands will remain
and you don't only bruise my body but all of my soul
(Chorus)
Another punch flat in the stomach
another push in the back
finding blue on your bed sheets
and I´m calling home when sirens whisper my name
I'm calling home
I'm calling home
and every time you promise while holding my throat
its the last time
its the last time
and every time I fall down my own blood you pick me up
to throw me further once more
But I love you anyway
Oh I love you anyway
until death will whisper my name
(Chorus)
Another punch flat in the stomach
another push in the back
finding blue on your bed sheets
and I´m calling home when sirens whisper my name
I'm calling home
I'm calling home
Greetings
