This photo is an accidental selfie taken at the end of day one of my escape. I left with the clothes on my back and a smashed phone. I went to buy a phone and went to my daughter's home. After taking a bath, I turned on my phone hoping to see a message. Sick and twisted I know. As I was looking, I had a breakdown and evidently snapped a picture. I didn't see it for several days. When I did see it, I saw a pathetic, broken person I did not recognize.

This is my picture 7 months after I was brutally assaulted by my brother and father and left with 15% of my brain and life left because of UN-diagnosed MT-BI. I survived and now I''m living my own life with no one telling me what to do or how to do it.

My husband hits me when he's drunk. He emotionally abuses me, and the financial abuse is the worst part...I can't afford to leave.

Dear Sir,
Domestic Violence is one of the oldest social menaces in human history, yet while society has made significant progress on other issues such as modern-day slavery and discrimination, Domestic violence remained largely untreated
It is on this note that SaintOnios Studios has integrated with youths across Nigeria and other African countries to research and tell stories that will not only reveal the current status but educate principal actors on the loopholes and GAPS that exist within the African region. One of such productions is "AFTER THE VOW."
"AFTER THE VOW" is an evidence-based story about a woman that died of preventable domestic violence.
Below is the link to the first shoot, in which we intend to work on other real-life stories across Nigeria and Africa as a whole

I am currently seeking partnerships with individuals and organizations that can License this film and distribute to schools across the globe, and also contact NGO by those who would love to use the movie as a teaching tool in their Seminars, Events, Workshop, Symposium, etc.
Should you be interested in this offer, kindly send me procedures and agreement documents for us to proceed.
I am also open to working with your organization on any level that will help eradicate domestic violence.
Thank You

No female should feel this pain by the one she loves...
Seeing yourself in the mirror; and
Hating yourself for being so afraid of leaving.

This was taken well after my partner of almost seven years and two small children went into a murder suicide rampage. Sick thing is I still miss him... Not the abuse but what and who I thought he was. I will never fear anything anymore a beating well... That beating a gun pressed to my head and then his cowardly exit when he realized I was done with this.

This is for loving too much...
The cost of loving to much ? ... This is because I dared to ask about his history of violence.
